Resolved Question: Horse People of Manitowoc, Ozaukee, Green Bay WI, please answer!?

OK, I want to desperately ride my horse on a beach, in the water, etc.... Where is it allowed or where is a good place?? I really hope there are some of you out here on Y!A. I don't even know who/where to ask! Thanks in advance! Cool! Hi back! You know of anywhere in Fond Du Lac let me know. I talked to the police chief in Port Washington and he said as long as you pick up your horse poop, you can ride on the beach. The thing is that about a mile down the beach, it becomes private property and the owners will be cool with you as long as you don't leave poop. The chief also said that as long as you walk in the wake, you aren't technically on their property. The problem with Port is that they recently got a new chief and mayor and they are both real pricks about dogs. They go so far as to harass all dog owners and follow them around town trying to give out tickets. That being said, it makes me wary of bringing a horse there even though it's legal.... Read More »
