Heads up if GV is part of your commute: southbound CTH GV closes Monday at 4 am for concrete roadway replacement, south of Landmark Boulevard down to Highway 172, for about five weeks. Northbound stays open. The posted detour runs CTH JJ to Highway 43 to Highway 172. Adjust the school-run math accordingly.

Sunday's Eastern Conference Championship was big on the field and bigger off it. The Green Bay Blizzard donated $15 from every ticket sold toward rebuilding Menasha's Nathan Calder Stadium, wrecked by July's EF-3 tornado, and handed the Menasha football team a $15,000 check. Oh, and they also won a 67-60 overtime thriller over Tulsa to punch their ticket to the IFL Championship Game. "This is Green Bay," said co-owner Kathy Treankler. She's right.

One week after Wrightstown voters rejected a data center, Bellevue's Village Board takes up a proposed 12-month moratorium on them Wednesday, driven by resident concerns. There's a public hearing on the agenda, meaning your voice literally counts here. The meeting's at 6:30 pm at Village Hall (3100 Eaton Road), and streams live on Facebook if you can't make it in person.

Three years ago, 13 girls from West De Pere schools set up a lemonade stand with big hearts. Today, The Lemon Market is a full nonprofit, still run by the original crew, and 100% of every dollar goes to local families fighting childhood cancer and the organizations that care for them. Lemonade, baked goods, crocheted items, handmade jewelry, face painting, and henna. Bring cash, bring the kids, bring your can tabs (they're collecting those for Ronald McDonald House too).

When The Abbey poured its last after 52 years in De Pere, everyone wondered what came next. Answer: One Barrel Brewing Co. confirmed it's taking over the space, a new taproom plus an attached wine bar serving craft beer, cocktails, and food. "It's been a wild ride, and we can't wait to meet our neighbors in De Pere," the team posted. Target opening: spring 2027.

Something different for your weekend: a beginner Cuban salsa lesson at 6 pm, then nonstop salsa, timba, and a little bachata until 9. No partner, no experience, no problem — this monthly night has a loyal following for a reason.
