Hey Green Bay ππ
Hope you're having a spooky-good week! Can you believe it's already Halloween? I swear, I blinked, and suddenly there are jack-o'-lanterns everywhere, and my neighbors have turned their front yards into full-on haunted graveyards (seriously impressive commitment, folks).
Whether you're planning to dress up, hand out candy, binge scary movies, or just use it as an excuse to eat your weight in chocolate (no judgment here), I hope you're finding little pockets of fun in the chaos.
I've got some treats lined up for you this week, no tricks, I promise! Well... maybe just a little one. π
Let's dive in!

π π‘ Green Bay Talks Short-Term Rental Rules
Green Bay officials are reviewing new rules for short-term rentals, such as Airbnbs and vacation stays, aimed at balancing affordable housing with the cityβs thriving tourism scene. The proposal includes limits on noise and parking, as well as a possible seven-night minimum stay.
Some local hosts worry it could hurt game-day visitors (we all know those Lambeau weekends ), while others say itβs a step toward keeping housing within reach for families.
What do you think about the proposed short-term rental regulations?

ππ Look Whoβs Rolling Into Town!
The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is cruising through Green Bay this week, and itβs serving up smiles everywhere it goes. The 27-foot hot dog on wheels is stopping at local events, libraries, and markets β handing out classic Wiener Whistles and plenty of nostalgia along the way.
Itβs one of those feel-good sights that makes you grin and think, βOnly in Wisconsin.β π
π§ Heads-Up, Green Bay Drivers!
The City of Green Bayβs Department of Public Works announced that Hinkle Street (south of W. Mason Street) will be closed till November 26, 2025, for utility and pavement reconstruction.
A temporary Right-In / Right-Out will be built just east of the area to keep access open for nearby businesses along 2200β2300 W. Mason St. South Frontage Road.
π¦Ί Plan a few extra minutes if you travel through that area this month!

.ποΈ Downtown Green Bay Hits Major Construction Milestone
A new era for downtown living is taking shape! Developers and city officials recently marked a milestone in the construction of a 268-unit, $77 million apartment project rising in the heart of Green Bay.
Led by New Land Enterprises and Stevens Construction, the team celebrated a topping off ceremony on the buildingβs third-floor roof, signaling completion of its main structural phase less than a year after breaking ground in December 2024.
This eight-story mixed-use building is set to bring more housing, energy, and foot traffic to the downtown core, another big step forward in Green Bayβs urban revitalization. π
