ππ NWTC Joins National Program to Boost Job Outcomes
Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) has been selected to join the Aspen Instituteβs Unlocking Opportunity Network, a three-year national initiative designed to improve student job outcomes.
NWTC is one of 55 colleges in the U.S. chosen.
The program focuses on aligning degrees and advising with careers that provide family-sustaining wages or smooth transfers to bachelorβs programs.
Students can expect expanded advising, enrollment in high-value workforce programs, and fewer dead-end degree paths.
βJoining the Unlocking Opportunity network places NWTC at the table with leading institutions across the nation that are shaping the future of higher education,β said Dr. Kristen Raney, NWTC President

What was once slated for a megawarehouse is now becoming a βvibrant town center.β
On Sept. 3, developers and local officials broke ground on the Lawrence Town Center, a $215 million mixed-use neighborhood.

This multi-year project aims to create a true destination neighborhood just south of De Pere.
