Hey Neighbors πŸ‘‹

So a buddy of mine has this tradition. At 8 am on the morning of the Packers opener, he goes to the same bakery by the stadium. Not for the donuts; for the feeling.

He swears the air crackles differently. Like the whole town is holding its breath. It's electric, a little sacred, and he says that no matter what else is happening in his life, walking into that buzz grounds him.

Whatever your ritual is this Sunday, I hope you sink into it. Monday morning will still be there. This is worth savoring.

We'll see you on the other side. And if you've got a story worth sharing, you know where to find us.

🏈 Sports

🏈 The Season Opens in Minnesota, and It's Personal

Real football returns Sunday afternoon: Packers at Vikings, 3:25 pm on CBS. Minnesota looks different, having handed the offense to Kyler Murray over former first-rounder J.J. McCarthy, while the Packers are carrying a full offseason of "remember how that ended" energy after last January's wild card collapse in Chicago. It's the first of six division games, and the schedule bookends the whole season inside the NFC North. One more date for the fridge: the home opener is Thursday, Sept 24 against Atlanta under the Lambeau lights.

🐐 The Botanical Garden Hired Goats

The Garden's newest crew members work for food, literally. Someday Farms' goats are spending the week grazing down invasive plants like buckthorn, phragmites, and box elder, wearing NoFence GPS collars that keep them exactly where they're needed. It's chemical-free invasive species control, and yes, you can watch them work (from outside the fence, please). Easily the most charming landscaping operation in town.

Most founders can describe their product. They can't describe their customer. Not in a way that actually changes how they sell.

HubSpot for Startups built a free tool to fix that. Paste in your URL, answer a few quick questions, and it generates a structured profile of your best-fit customer. Firmographics, buying triggers, the works.
