Hi there,

How did we go back to winter? hahah.

It's okay, I still have a weekly roundup of all things happening indoors and outdoors. A lot of events covered in so you dont h’t have to look around.

Over 10,000 Green Bay locals keep up with what’s happening through Green Bay Buzz.

Got an event, news update, or something cool happening in the community?

Drop it in our 📝 Event Submission Form and it might be featured in an upcoming edition. 🎉

Green Bay Buzz exists because of the community, and we love highlighting what makes this city great. 💛

🌟 NWTC grads now have a direct path to a 4-year business degree

Students graduating from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) just got a big new opportunity.

A new agreement now allows NWTC graduates to transfer directly to St. Norbert College to complete a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).

The partnership is designed to make it easier for local students to start their education at NWTC and then seamlessly continue their degree at St. Norbert.

Why it matters:
• Lower cost path to a bachelor’s degree
• Keeps students studying locally
• Strengthens the pipeline for business talent in the Green Bay area

It’s another example of local schools working together to create more opportunities for students right here in Northeast Wisconsin.:

🧑‍💼 Teen leadership program shaping future Green Bay leaders

The Greater Green Bay Chamber is offering a Teen Leadership program designed to help local high school students grow their leadership skills and connect with the community.

Students in the program get the chance to:
• Learn leadership and teamwork skills
• Meet local business and community leaders
• Explore career paths in Northeast Wisconsin
• Work on projects that impact the community

Programs like this are all about helping the next generation build confidence, leadership, and real-world experience.

📔 Green Bay schools are offering community classes this spring

Looking to learn something new this spring?

The Green Bay Area Public School District is offering a lineup of community enrichment classes open to local residents. These classes cover a wide range of topics and are designed for adults and community members who want to pick up new skills, hobbies, or interests.

Some classes focus on things like:
🎨 Creative arts
💻 Technology skills
🍳 Cooking
📚 Personal development
🧠 Learning new hobbies

❄️ Winter isn’t done with us yet

Just when it started to feel like spring might win… winter said, “Not so fast.” Snow showers could arrive Thursday night, and forecasters are watching a potential winter storm this weekend that may bring heavier snow to parts of the region.

📈 $129K invested into local nonprofits

Good news for the community. The Women’s Fund of Greater Green Bay just awarded $129,000 in grants to several local nonprofit organizations working to support women and girls in the area.

The funding will help programs focused on things like education, leadership development, financial stability, and support services across the region.

It is another reminder that much meaningful work in Green Bay happens quietly through local nonprofits and community partnerships.

Small investments can lead to big ripple effects across the community.

📈 New physical therapy clinic coming to the West Side YMCA

More healthcare access is coming to the west side of Green Bay. Amplify Health by Bellin is partnering with the Greater Green Bay YMCA to open a 3,000-square-foot physical therapy clinic inside the West Side Y.

The space will offer physical therapy services right inside the YMCA, creating a convenient one-stop wellness hub for members and the surrounding community.

The partnership aims to make recovery, rehabilitation, and fitness services more accessible for local residents.
