π°π« Positively Green Bay
π ππ Green Bay invests in faster, smarter emergency response
The Green Bay City Council has approved a new βDrone as First Responderβ program designed to help police respond faster and safer, even with ongoing staffing shortages. The technology allows drones to reach emergency scenes quickly, giving officers real-time information before they arrive and helping resolve thousands of calls more efficiently each year. City leaders say itβs a forward-thinking move that boosts public safety while making better use of resources.
π β¨πHoliday magic is officially in full swing across Green Bay!
Festive lights, packed events, and winter cheer are drawing visitors from near and far, giving local shops, restaurants, and attractions a big holiday boost. From Lambeau-area excitement to downtown markets and cozy seasonal events, the city is buzzing with energy. Tourism leaders say this joyful time of year brings a major lift to the local economy, spreading cheer while supporting small businesses and community events all around town.
ππ Packers Foundation Boosts Wisconsin Communities
Nearly 400 nonprofits across Wisconsin, including dozens in Brown County, received a combined $1.5 million in grants from the Green Bay Packers Foundation. The funding supports causes like health and wellness, community programs, animal welfare, and environmental initiatives, helping local organizations keep their doors open and services strong.

π° New Ashwaubenon Library Moves One Step Closer to Opening β¨
The Brown County Library is rallying community support as it prepares to open the new Pamperin Family Branch near Ashwaubenon in early 2026.
While the building itself is nearly complete, the library has launched a final $100,000 fundraiser to help finish interior essentials like bookshelves, study spaces, and learning areas. Rising construction costs have made these finishing touches more challenging, but library leaders remain optimistic and excited.
π The big picture: This fundraiser is about more than shelves. Itβs about creating a welcoming, modern community hub that supports education, connection, and lifelong learning for decades to come.
π A reminder that when a community comes together, great things get built, literally.
