Hey π
Quick pulse check⦠have you left the house this week?
If not, I might have a reason for you.
Thereβs a weirdly good mix happening right now, a little late-night energy, a little family fun, a little dress-up-and-dream energy, and some quiet progress in the background.
Nothing dramatic. Just options.
Take what fits. Ignore what doesnβt.

πLocal Foundation Fuels Student Innovation
This is the kind of behind-the-scenes win that actually matters.
The Green Bay Area Public Schools Education Foundation recently helped power up Lombardi Middle Schoolβs annual CO2 car races with funding for a new electric starter and timing system.
Instead of a basic setup, students now launch their CO2 cars with an automated countdown and see instant race times flash on a display. It is hands-on engineering with legit tools.
This is exactly what Give BIG Green Bay is about. Supporting projects that stretch beyond district budgets and give students experiences they will actually remember.
When local donors step up, classrooms level up.

π Short-Term Rental Rules Could Change in Green Bay
The Green Bay Plan Commission voted to recommend updates to the cityβs short-term rental ordinance, and the proposal now heads to the Green Bay Common Council on March 3
Here is what is being proposed:
β’ Required written house rules posted for guests
β’ Clear parking and noise restrictions
β’ Local contact information for a representative
β’ A public online map showing all permitted short-term rentals, including permit holder name, contact info, and date issued
β’ Stronger permit application and renewal standards
β’ A structured βcorrection meetingβ before any suspension or revocation
β’ Potential suspension or revocation for repeat violations or nuisance activity
What This Means
If you own a short-term rental, transparency and compliance are about to matter more than ever. If you live next to one, you may soon have easier access to contact info and a clearer path for complaints. This is one to watch. March 3 could reshape how short-term rentals operate in Green Bay.
