The bill would fine companies $25,000 if their chatbots encourage minors to harm themselves or engage in dangerous behavior. The proposal follows similar efforts gaining traction in other states, a promising sign that lawmakers are keeping pace with technology to put kids first.

Primrose Retirement Communities plans to open a new assisted living campus in Howard, following approval of a purchase agreement by the village board.

The campus would include assisted living units and detached cottages, supporting seniors as they transition through different levels of care, all within the community.

This marks the second senior living development approved in Howard within the past year, signaling continued growth, investment, and expanded housing options for older adults in the area.

City of Green Bay Government is reminding residents that the first installment of 2025 property taxes is due January 31.
